PLIS S.A.S<\/strong> acts as an authorized intermediary for the promotion and management of visitor exchange programs with J1 visas, academic students with F1 visas, and temporary workers with H1B, H2A, and H2B visas in the United States, in accordance with the regulations of the U.S. Department of State. By participating in our programs, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions:<\/p>

Nature of Service<\/strong>:<\/p>

The agency provides advisory, guidance, and administrative management services to facilitate enrollment in programs and visa applications for J-1 exchange, F1 academic studies, and H2A and H2B temporary work. We do not guarantee visa approval, acceptance into specific programs, or specific work outcomes, as these depend on third parties, including government agencies, sponsoring institutions, employers, and consular authorities. We do not ensure acceptance by specific employers, nor do we guarantee specific working conditions or the exact duration of employment, study, or exchange programs.<\/p>

  1. Limited Liability<\/strong>:<\/li><\/ol>

    The agency is not responsible for:<\/p>

    • Decisions made by the U.S. Consulate or Embassy regarding your visa application.<\/li>
    • Decisions or changes to immigration laws by U.S. government agencies, including but not limited to the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Department of State (DOS), Department of Labor (DOL), or State Workforce Agencies (SWA) regarding J1, F1, H1B, H2A, and H2B programs.<\/li>
    • Cancellations, delays, or modifications to programs by employers and\/or sponsors of J1 exchange visas.<\/li>
    • Cancellations, delays, or modifications to academic programs by English schools, colleges, or universities sponsoring F1 student visas.<\/li>
    • Cancellations, delays, or modifications to employment contracts by employers sponsoring H1B, H2A, and H2B work visas.<\/li>
    • Civil and\/or legal consequences for applicants committing fraud or immigration offenses before the U.S. Consulate or Embassy and\/or DHS, both inside and outside the United States.<\/li>
    • Unforeseen situations during your stay in the United States, including but not limited to:
      • Employment, legal, or immigration issues.<\/li>
      • Voluntary and\/or involuntary accidents.<\/li>
      • \u00a0<\/li>
      • Crimes, traffic violations, judicial and\/or tax issues.<\/li>
      • Illness or other personal incidents.<\/li>
      • Cultural challenges, language, and social barriers.<\/li>
      • Natural disasters or weather-related emergencies.<\/li>
      • Pandemics caused by viruses, infections, or biological vectors.<\/li>
      • Domestic or international war, social protests.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul>
        1. Insurance and Personal Expenses<\/strong>:<\/li><\/ol>

          Participants are responsible for additional or unforeseen expenses related to their stay in the destination country. All personal expenses, including housing, food, transportation, and any other additional needs, are the sole responsibility of the participant.<\/p>

          1. Compliance with Regulations<\/strong>:<\/li><\/ol>

            Participants are responsible for complying with all laws, rules, and regulations related to J-1, F1, H1B, H2A, and H2B programs in both their home country and the United States. The agency will not be held accountable for consequences resulting from non-compliance with these regulations.<\/p>

            1. Confidentiality and Data Usage<\/strong>:<\/li><\/ol>

              The agency will handle your personal information in accordance with our privacy policy. However, the agency may share necessary information with sponsors, employers, and immigration authorities to meet program requirements.<\/p>

              1. Cancellations and Refunds<\/strong>:<\/li><\/ol>

                Refund policies are subject to the conditions stipulated in the contract signed at the time of enrollment. Refunds will not be issued once the process with the sponsor or employer has started, except for specific exceptions described in the contract. No refunds will be made for visa denials, voluntary withdrawals, or violations of immigration regulations.<\/p>

                1. Inherent Risks<\/strong>:<\/li><\/ol>

                  Participating in a J-1, F1, H1B, H2A, or H2B program involves accepting the risks associated with traveling, living, and working and\/or studying in a foreign country. Therefore, it is mandatory to purchase medical and liability insurance that meets the requirements set by the J1 program sponsor. Similarly, we recommend obtaining medical and liability insurance that complies with the requirements established by academic institutions for F1 study programs. We also recommend acquiring medical and liability insurance that meets the standards set by employers according to the risk level of each labor activity for temporary agricultural H2A, non-agricultural H2B, and H1B skilled worker programs.<\/p>

                  1. Modifications and Termination<\/strong>:<\/li><\/ol>
                    • Agency Rights<\/strong>:<\/li><\/ul>

                      The agency reserves the right to modify or terminate its services at any time, providing participants with reasonable prior notice. Notification will be considered any official communication from the agency to participants through physical and\/or digital correspondence, including but not limited to email, instant messaging services (SMS, WhatsApp, FaceTime, Telegram, etc.), or social media chat messages (Instagram, Facebook Messenger, TikTok, LinkedIn, etc.), whether read, viewed, or reviewed.<\/p>

                      • Participant Obligations<\/strong>:<\/li><\/ul>

                        In case of termination of service by the agency, appropriate procedures will be carried out in accordance with internal and applicable legal policies.<\/p>

                        • Personal Responsibility<\/strong>:<\/li><\/ul>

                          Participants assume responsibility for adapting to living and working conditions in the United States and handling any unforeseen situations that may arise.<\/p>
